Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect when you use Chogosu, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We try to keep this short and plain.

What we collect

• Account details. Your email address, username, and anything you add to your profile, such as a bio or an avatar image.
• Activity. The prompts you list, the prompts you buy, and the reviews you write.
• Payment details. Handled by Stripe, not us. We receive a confirmation that a payment succeeded and a reference to it, but we never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

• To run your account and show your shop, listings, and purchases.
• To unlock prompts you have paid for and pay out sellers.
• To send transactional email, such as a receipt or a sale notice.
• To keep the marketplace safe and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send marketing email that you did not ask for.

Services we rely on

We use a few trusted providers to run Chogosu. Each handles only the data it needs:

• Supabase stores your account, listings, and purchase records.
• Stripe processes payments and seller payouts.
• Resend delivers transactional email.

Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to make the site work. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, change your email, or update your password from your account settings at any time. If you want your account and personal data deleted, email us and we will take care of it. Some records tied to a completed sale may be kept where we are required to keep them for tax or accounting reasons.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is open. When you close your account we delete or anonymize your personal data, except for anything we must retain by law.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
